Jan Aushadhi Kendras are spread across India but many towns and villages still have none within easy reach. The same Jan Aushadhi medicines can be ordered online and delivered to any pincode in India, with the prescription checked by a registered pharmacist.
The problem
For someone in a small town, the nearest Kendra can be an hour's journey away. For an older parent who needs medicines every month, that trip is the reason many people go back to paying full price at the nearest chemist.
How to find the nearest Kendra
The scheme publishes its Kendras on its website and in its Jan Aushadhi Sugam app, searchable by place. If one is close, it is a good option.
If none is close: order online
We deliver to every pincode in India. You order the medicine, we show the date it should reach you before you pay, and it comes to your door.
- Search by the brand your doctor wrote or by its salt.
- Check the salt, the strength and the form against your prescription.
- Add it to your cart and pay. For a prescription medicine, send the prescription on WhatsApp; a registered pharmacist checks it before the order is released.
Is it safe to buy medicines online?
Buy only from a store that shows its drug licence, a registered pharmacist, and a grievance officer you can reach, and that asks for a prescription for prescription medicines. Ours are on the Contact page.
